Shatter the Silence
SHATTER THE SILENCE established in 2013, is a faith‐based initiative that provides opportunities for faith leaders and members of their congregations to address issues of sexual victimization, which includes: rape, incest, sexual harassment, exploitation, etc. The program raises awareness on the prevalence of sexual victimization and trains clergy to support survivors and others affected by sexual victimization. It is a collaborative project involving 10 congregations in Greater Boston in developing new strategies to address the social injustice of sexual abuse and victimization in our communities and beyond.
