Re-Entry Programs
TWO RE-ENTRY PROGRAMS Provide services to assist 160 ex-offenders address substance abuse, housing and employment issues prior to and when released from prison. Both the Massachusetts Community Outreach Initiative and Strong Men program provide counseling and support for inmates to assist them in planning a new life-style prior to leaving prison, and go further to work with ex-offenders in the months following their release to access needed services, treatment, housing and employment to assist them in building new lives.
